Golfing Numbers Up Despite 2020 Pandemic

Golfers flocked to courses across the Mahoning Valley in 2020, taking advantage of the unusually cooperative weather in northeastern Ohio and getting a respite from the stay-at-home pandemic restrictions.

“Everybody wanted to get out of the house and do something and golf was just a great means to do it,” says Don Confoey, golf director of The Lake Club in Poland, Ohio.
