Goodwill Opens New Store, Donation Center in Salem

SALEM, Ohio – Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries has opened its newest store and donation center in Salem, at 2350 E. State St.

The 16,000-square-foot site will allow the nonprofit to created additional job opportunities, with some openings still available.

“We are excited to be open and share what we have been working on with the community,” said CEO Mark Goloja in a statement.

The new store offers an expanded selection of clothing, housewares, furniture, shoes, accessories, books, media and more. In addition to a larger storefront, the location features improved accessibility to its donation center. It is open Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m.

The Salem store is Goodwill’s ninth in the area, with a 10th set to open in Greenville, Pa., in January,
