Goodwill Provides Training for Health Care Jobs
The Youngstown Area Goodwill is providing training for health care jobs that are in high demand in the Mahoning Valley.
MedCerts, an online health care and IT training program, partnered with Goodwill to provide certifications for careers that are in need of workers.
“With Goodwill, we actually partnered where they’re facilitating the training programs,” says Melanie Martin, regional workforce development manager for MedCerts. “They have a classroom. We’ve trained individuals to be familiar with not only how our learning system works, but also to be certified and trained in those programs so they can be subject-matter experts and offer additional support to our students.”
