Grand River Valley Wineries to Offer Ice Wine, Appetizers in March
GENEVA, Ohio – The Wine Growers of the Grand River Valley’s annual Ice Wine Festival will take place from noon to 5 p.m. daily throughout March.
Participating wineries are Debonné Vineyards, Ferrante Winery and Ristorante, Grand River Cellars Winery and Restaurant, Laurello Vineyards, Cask 307 Winery, South River Vineyards and Red Eagle Distillery.
Maps of the area that show the location of each participating winery will be available at each stop.
Ice wine is a seasonal product that is released in late winter every year. The sweet and thick wine is made from ripe grapes that were picked while frozen and have a high sugar concentration.
Visitors can stop at any or all of the participating wineries on Saturdays during the month to sample their ice wine, paired with an appetizer. The cost is $10 at each winery and includes a souvenir glass.
