Greenwood Chevy Names 898 Marketing Agency of Record
CANFIELD, Ohio — 898 Marketing is expanding its scope of work with Greenwood Chevrolet by becoming the company’s official agency of record.
As of June 1, 898 will assume responsibility for all marketing and advertising efforts for the Austintown and Hubbard dealerships that Greenwood owns and operates, says Jeff Ryznar, president of 898 Marketing.
Greenwood Chevrolet is one of the top 100 Chevrolet dealership groups in the country, he notes.
“Our company has been experiencing growth, but nothing compares to the opportunity our team has earned to serve as the agency of record for one of the country’s most successful and respected Chevrolet dealerships,” says Ryznar.
The partnership between Greenwood Chevrolet in Austintown and 898 started in April 2018, when the agency oversaw the dealership’s content marketing efforts on social media. Over the past year, the dealership has become the fastest growing automotive brand on social media as it relates to followers and engagements, according to Ryznar.
He credits, in part, a production called “The Extra Mile,” which featured a series of vignettes posted to social media. In these videos, Greg Greenwood, owner of the dealerships, drives around town with a different employee as they talk about why they love working at Greenwood Chevrolet, how they go the extra mile for customers every day, and create “an experience for customers like no other facility,” Ryznar says.
In addition, the agency helped increase online reviews of the dealership. This initiative made Greenwood the most reviewed new-car dealership in Mahoning County on Google (594 reviews) in 2018 with one of the highest rating of any new car dealership in northeast Ohio (rating of 4.6), Ryznar says.
It was this performance that led to the decision to name 898 Marketing agency of record, responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all advertising and marketing efforts for both dealerships, he reports.
“My team and I are excited to continue to grow our Chevrolet brand presence by enlarging the role 898 Marketing will play,” says Greenwood. “I have known and admired Jeff [Ryznar] and 898 Marketing’s efforts for some time, and I have come to truly appreciate his creativity, leading edge innovation and integrity. I am quite sure that he and his team will continue to produce sizeable and measurable results for our dealerships and for our community.”
898 Marketing also counts among its clients Southwoods Health, The United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley, Power Tool and Supply and the Mahoning County Board of Health, Ryznar says.
“This year marked our fifth year anniversary of serving clients with an approach to marketing that has not only differentiated us but our clients as well,” he says.
