Greenwood Adds $25K Donation to Truck-filled Food Drive
AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Greenwood Chevrolet’s sales, service and collision departments recently entered into a friendly competition to collect food donations to support the mission of Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley. Customers were encouraged to give their support by bringing in nonperishable food items.
Food donations were collected and displayed in the beds of three pickup trucks, each parked in the showroom. To further support the food bank, Greenwood Chevrolet made an additional donation of $25,000.
“We’re very fortunate we have so many wonderful donors like Greenwood Chevrolet that do these things for us,” says Renee Fuller, director of development for Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley. “Then on top to do a food drive with the funds, that puts it over the top.”
