Group Asks Eastern Gateway Students to Complete Survey

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Alliance for Congregational Transformation Influencing Our Neighborhoods is asking Eastern Gateway Community College students to complete a survey about their experiences.

Earlier this year, Action expressed disappointment about the Eastern Gateway decision to suspend classes.

“With the growing changes that the Eastern Gateway Community faces, our main concern currently is for the students who are being affected,” a new release from Action states.

Action has spoken with Youngstown State University President Bill Johnson about the process Eastern Gateway students will face as they navigate the transition to YSU.

“As advocates for the community, [Action] is committed to ensuring that Youngstown State University fulfills its promises about accommodating Eastern Gateway students and their needs,” the news release states.

To further address the concerns of students, Action has assembled a survey for Eastern Gateway students, which is available HERE and on all social media platforms.

The survey aims to gather feedback directly from students to better understand their needs and concerns.

Students who complete the survey by May 31 will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card.
