Grove City College Earns Top Spots in US News Rankings
GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College earned top status for value, overall quality and undergraduate teaching, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Colleges edition.
The college holds the No. 2 spot for Best Value in the Northeast and is ranked fourth overall in the region, according to the rankings that were released Tuesday. The college also ranked second in the Northeast for undergraduate teaching and was recognized nationally for its undergraduate engineering and computer science programs in the 2025 guide.
“The latest U.S. News rankings highlight the value of a Grove City College education and validate our commitment to offering students excellent academic programs that ensure a strong grounding in the liberal arts as well as a comprehensive understanding of their major areas of study,” said Paul J. McNulty, Grove City College president. “This approach, grounded in Christian truth, enables graduates to flourish in their lives and careers.”
The college’s overall best ranking is based on academic data, including graduation rates and financial resources devoted to instruction, high post-graduate earnings, low student debt and peer assessments from administrators and faculty at other private, nonprofit colleges.
U.S. News recognized the college for excellence in undergraduate teaching, ranking it second in the region based on multiple data points and the nomination of at least seven peer institutions.
