Grove City College Names Frank New Provost
GROVE CITY, Pa. – Peter M. Frank has been named the new provost and vice president of academic affairs at Grove City College.
Frank is a 1995 graduate of the college who double majored in economics and religion. Afterward, earned a master’s in economics with a concentration on urban and regional economic development from the University of North Carolina. He also holds a doctorate from George Mason University .
Most recently, he was dean of the Byrum School of Business at Wingate University, where he has worked as an administrator and professor since 2003. In 2012, Frank taught in studied in Moldovia as the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship.
“Dr. Frank is an innovative leader, accomplished scholar and devoted servant of Christ who we are pleased to welcome home,” said Grove City College President Paul McNulty in a statement. “I am confident that he possesses the leadership experience, initiative and strength of character to enhance the College’s strong reputation for academic excellence.”
Among his publications are a chapter in “Non-market Entrepreneurship: Interdisciplinary approaches,” which he co-edited. He also serves as a free enterprise fellow at the Jesse Helms Center in Wingate, N.C., and as director of Wingate University’s BB&T Bank Program on the Foundations of Capitalism.
