Grove City College Ranked a Top 10 ‘Best Value’ in Pennsylvania

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College has been ranked among the top 10 “best value” schools in Pennsylvania by SmartAsset.

Ranked No. 9 in the state and 147th nationally, the college was rated on alumni starting salaries, tuition, living expenses, student retention rate and the amount of scholarships awarded.

Particularly, SmartAsset reported above average salaries for graduates, with an average starting salary of $55,000 and a midcareer average of $105,500. Grove City College reports 96% of graduates are employed or in graduate school within six months of getting their degree.

The college was also named among the most affordable in Pennsylvania, with tuition and living expenses coming in well below comparably priced schools. The average annual tuition is $18,930 and room and board averages $10,310. 

While Grove City College has refused federal support including loans and grants, students are offered private loans and scholarships. Most students receive need- and merit-based aid and more than 40% of students graduate without debt.
