Grove City College Ranked on Forbes’ ‘Best Value’ List

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Forbes magazine has ranked Grove City College No. 153 on its annual America’s Best Value Colleges list, ahead of schools like Penn State University, Carnegie Mellon University and University of Pittsburgh.

The ranking, which lists the top 300 schools, considers net price, net debt, alumni earnings, timely graduation and academic quality.

“We are honored to be included once again in this highly selective group of schools. This recognition places us squarely in the top 10% of four-year higher education institutions,” said Grove City College President Paul McNulty in a release.

Grove City College’s tuition is $16,154 per year and the college has 2,444 students enrolled, according to the rankings. The schools also has a 13:1 student-faculty ratio, McNulty says, and 83% of students graduate within four years.

Among the other regional schools included in the rankings, Ohio State University was ranked No. 105, Carnegie Mellon No. 167, Penn State No. 200 and Pittsburgh No. 264.
