Grove City College Sets PAC Honor Roll Record

GROVE CITY, Pa. — With 81 Grove City College student-athletes from winter and spring sports earning placement on the Presidents’ Athletic Conference’s Spring 2019 Academic Honor Roll, the college is leading the conference and has set the record for PAC Academic Honor Roll performers.

Combined with the 68 students named to the honor roll in the fall, Grove City had 149 student-athletes named to the PAC Academic Honor Roll for the school year, a conference record. The 81 honorees also set the highest spring semester total in PAC history, according to a release.

“This accomplishment is a great testament to the support and hard work of our faculty, academic support staff, administration, coaches and of course the 81 athletes who earned this honor,” said Todd Gibson, Grove City College athletic director. “This is a great example of the Wolverines Together mantra on our campus working to help students achieve at a high level allowing them to earn a recognition that all associated with the college can be proud of.”

The Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of competition.
