Grove City College to Hold Entrepreneurship Showcase

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Grove City College will hold its inaugural Entrepreneurship & Innovation Showcase from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Sticht Lecture Hall of the Hall of Arts and Letters on campus.

Part of the Junior Crimson Day admissions event, the event is an opportunity for the public to see what Grove City College students are doing in technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation. VentureLab teams, senior computer science majors and Lean Launchpad students will discuss the ideas, projects, apps, and products they’ve been working on this academic year. The format will be several short informal presentations.

The showcase is sponsored by the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Grove City College.

“We’re so excited to open our doors so that the community and prospective students can see the fruits of our students’ labor from this past academic year,” said Yvonne English, executive director of the center.

“Perhaps there’s a key connection, potential investor, or strategic partnership out there just waiting to connect with our students or maybe there’s an individual who decides to attend because he simply needs a bit of inspiration,” she continued. “We’d like to see these types of casual connections between the community and our campus happen more often.”

The public is encouraged to attend the free event, but registration is required. For more information on the event and to register, visit this site. For more on entrepreneurship and innovation at Grove City College, visit here. To register for Junior Crimson Day, visit here.
