Grove City, Westminster Improve Rankings among Liberal Arts Colleges

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Grove City College in Grove City, Pa., and Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., both improved their standing in the 2022 edition of the U.S. News Best College Rankings.

In the National Liberal Arts Colleges category, Grove City College ranked 105, improving eight spots from last year. Student outcomes are heavily weighted in the rankings, according to a press release, and Grove City boasts an 84% four-year graduation rate and 90% freshman retention rate.

It also ranked 82 on the U.S. News Best Value Colleges listing. Grove City’s annual tuition and fees is $19,310. Its undergraduate enrollment in Fall 2019, the most recent data according to U.S. News, was 2,272.

Westminster improved three spots from last year to 117 on this year’s list. It also ranked No. 10 among Top Performers in Social Mobility, improving four spots from last year and earning the highest ranking on that list in the commonwealth.

Westminster’s total undergraduate enrollment in Fall 2020, the most recent data according to U.S. News, was 1,156. Annual tuition and fees is $38,230.
