Growth Report 2: Platt Insurance Streamlines Technology and Processes

HOWLAND – Platt Insurance introduced new services and products in 2023 and looks to build on its growth in 2024. The agency invested in new technology and process improvements, including the launch of its Platt Insurance iOS and Android application.

“These enhancements make insurance solutions more innovative and streamlined, providing a seamless and enjoyable experience for our clients and increasing workplace productivity,” owner Ellie Platt says.

The Howland-based agency added three employees in 2023, bringing its total to 13. And it participated in many local events such as the Oh Wow! Science of Brewing and the Youngstown Business Incubator Shark Tank.

“Our roots run deep in the Mahoning Valley and community engagement is at the heart of who we are,” says Platt, who received an award from the Ohio Independent Insurance Agents Association for community service and engagement.

The agency looks to expand and build on its success in 2024 by hiring additional talent, strengthening relationships with referral partners and exploring new avenues for growth.

“We aim to enhance our ability to provide tailored insurance solutions that not only protect our clients’ assets but also offer stability and financial security,” Platt says.
