Growth Report 2017: Landers-Lewis Reaches 14% Growth

BOARDMAN, Ohio — Landers-Lewis Insurance & Consulting and MVC Advisors sought to reach 10% growth in 2016 and achieved 14%, Steven R. Lewis reports.
Lewis and Dan Landers co-own the sister companies in Boardman that operate in tandem to provide insurance, business consulting services, investor group formations and commercial property management services.
“We fully expect more than 10% growth in 2017,” Lewis says, and for MVC Advisors, before March 31, “to announce the addition of another multi-family residential, complex with over 100 units.” MVC created the opportunity and recruited “appropriate local investors,” he notes. Once built, MVC will manage the property.
The insurance agency “obtained two additional national appointments in 2016,” Lewis says, “bringing our stable of top-rated carriers to 20.”
Greater use of social media and the Landers-Lewis website extended the agency’s ability to explain the products it offers and to advise clients.
Landers-Lewis’ affiliation with ACN Inc., a North Carolina-based direct seller of essential services, allows the agency to offer “preferential pricing” to residential and commercial customers from providers of energy. “Special pricing opportunities also exist for DirecTV, internet service and cell phone plans,” Lewis says.
The staff of 12 gives back to their communities, Lewis says, as he salutes his partner, Landers, for his service as chairman of Cardinal Mooney High School. His fundraising efforts allowed the school to recommit itself to Youngstown and “remain a vital part of the inner city,” Lewis says.
Staff supported Northeast Ohio Adoption Services, the Animal Welfare League and Ernie Hall Aviation Museum.
