Harrington Hoppe Publishes Community Involvement Report
YOUNGTOWN, Ohio — Harrington, Hoppe & Mitchell, Ltd., a regional law firm, today published its first Community Involvement Report, an online summary of its 2018 donation, volunteer and pro bono services activity.
The report aims to inform clients, community partners, referral sources and potential clients about HHM’s commitment to community service.
“Our lawyers also serve on a wide variety of local nonprofit boards and committees,” the report states.
“In 2018, HHM lawyers were proud to contribute financial support or time to more than 30 local organizations or events, as well as pro bono legal services.”
“We realize that many consumers of professional services prefer to do business with providers that share their values,” says Kevin P. Murphy, chair of HHM management committee. “Many of our clients are major supporters of the Mahoning Valley and consider community involvement a primary feature of their business. Our firm has championed similar values since our establishment in 1834, and we’ve largely been quiet about it. But as society and business move toward greater transparency, and as information becomes easier to share, we decided to shine a small spotlight on our community involvement activities.”
The report can be accessed at www.hhmlaw.com/community-involvement. Links to the report will be distributed to HHM clients and other stakeholders next week.
Harrington, Hoppe & Mitchell Ltd. has offices in Youngstown, Warren and Salem. The firm provides legal solutions to corporations, other businesses, nonprofit organizations, government agencies and individuals.
