HBA Announces Seven New Board Members

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Home Builders & Remodelers Association of the Valley inducted seven new board members in 2021. 

Joanna Parker (Westside Tire and Service), Dan Miller (Guardian Protection), Ruth Bowdish (On Demand Occupational Medicine), Zach Tabor (Tabor’s Landscaping and Garden Center Inc.), Wendy Tisone (Market and Clipper Magazines), Donnie Fatobene (Farmers National Bank) and Don Petrosky (Petrosky Brothers Construction Inc.) were named to the HBA of the Valley board in the past year.

The organization, founded in 1945, represents residential contractors and its associated vendors in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties. It serves its membership through government representation, lead generation, networking opportunities, training programs, media relations and by offering money saving benefits.

The HBA of the Valley also promotes quality construction practices, attainable housing and consumer education. 

Despite the constant Covid restrictions, rising costs of materials and shortages of skilled labor, this area organization continues to thrive, said Karen Caruso, executive officer of the HBA of the Valley.

“Considering these, we at the HBA of the Valley are fortunate that we have continued to strive and grow,” she said.
