HBK Acquires Columbus Accounting Firm
CANFIELD, Ohio – HBK CPAs & Consultants has signed a definitive merger agreement under which Norman, Jones, Enlow & Co., based in Columbus, will join the multidisciplinary financial services firm.
HBK said the merger, announced today, represents greater expansion into Ohio for the firm. Terms were not disclosed.

“We are always interested in potential partnerships with solid, viable firms that meet our quality and service standards and share our core business prespectives, and NJE certainly meets both qualifications,” added Phil Wilson, chief operating officer of HBK.
Michelle Roseberry, president of NJE, said her company “spoke with several large firms about the possibility of joining them. HBK stood out because their scope of service will benefit our clients in the Columbus market in a way that wasn’t possible for us, as NJE.”
NJE has served the Columbus area since 1954. The firm has 20 employees and offices in Columbus and Zanesville. Its main area of concentration is small and medium-sized businesses. Construction, nonprofit organizations and multi-location restaurants are the top market segments served by NJE.
NJE’s executive team and staff will operate as HBK CPAs & Consultants from its current offices.
HBK CPAs & Consultants was founded in 1949, and is rated as a Top 100 firm by both Accounting Today and Inside Public Accounting magazines. The company employs 300 at offices in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida.
