Hertzer Named Permanent Executive Director of MVMC

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – In a unanimous vote, the Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition Board of Directors recently named Alex Hertzer executive director of the organization.

Hertzer has served as interim executive director for six months, replacing Jessica Borza, who served as the organization’s executive director since its inception. Borza announced in February that she was named managing director of Workforce Services for The Ohio Manufacturers’ Association.

“Alex has done a superb job in this time, and the transition was nearly seamless as he navigated the MVMC and learned more about our manufacturers and programs,” said Ryan Engelhardt, MVMC board president.

Engelhardt acknowledged Borza’s contributions that helped build MVMC and said he is confident Hertzer will continue that legacy.
