Hillside Works to Increase Patients’ Functions

Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital, is a 69-bed acute rehabilitation hospital that has three therapy gyms, and has operated for more than 55 years.

“Most patients want to be able to get back to the life they had prior to whatever illness or injury occurred to them,” says Jeffrey Koontz, director of rehabilitation services. “Our goal is to get that patient at the highest functional level possible before they’re discharged from Hillside.”
