Hiram College Earns Ranking on Washington Monthly List
HIRAM, Ohio – Hiram College is ranked 23rd on Washington Monthly’s list of Bachelor’s Colleges in 2024.
Washington Monthly has ranked four-year institutions based on their contribution to the public good since 2005. Rankings consist of three equally weighted portions: social mobility, research and promoting public service. To be considered a top-ranked institution, colleges must be excellent across all measures, rather than excelling in just one. An average of the three most recent years of data across all measures is used to establish a picture of an institution’s performance.
“We are thrilled to again be recognized as a top institution by Washington Monthly,” said Rob Bohrer, president of Hiram College. “The college’s appearance on this list affirms our commitment to making a Hiram education accessible and impactful. Our goal is to help students from all backgrounds achieve their full potential both inside and outside of the classroom, and this acknowledgment is a testament to our mission.”
The college also has been included in the Midwest’s Best Bang for the Buck rankings, and earlier this summer it earned a place as one of the nation’s 2024-25 Colleges of Distinction and Ohio Colleges of Distinction.
