Hiram Ranked Among Top 10 Colleges in the US

HIRAM, Ohio – Hiram College earned high marks in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings.

Hiram ranked ninth in Regional Colleges (Midwest), which “reflects the college’s dedication to providing a rigorous, student-centered academic experience, with a focus on student outcomes and faculty resources,” a news release states.

Hiram ranked sixth in the Best Value – Regional Colleges (Midwest) category and seventh in Social Mobility – Regional Colleges (Midwest).

“We are incredibly proud of these rankings,” said Rob Bohrer, president of Hiram College. “Our focus has always been on supporting students from diverse backgrounds, providing an education that is both affordable and impactful, and preparing them for success beyond the classroom. These achievements reflect Hiram’s dedication to offering a high-quality, accessible education and fostering an inclusive environment for all.” 

The U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings are based on a comprehensive analysis of more than 1,500 U.S. institutions. The analysis evaluates key metrics such as graduation and retention rates, faculty resources, academic reputation and financial aid.
