Holborn Herb Growers Guild to Host Annual Plant Sale

CANFIELD, Ohio – The Holborn Herb Growers Guild will present its annual Herb & Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 20.

The event will take place inside the vegetable building at the Canfield Fairgrounds, state Route 46, Columbiana Canfield Road, Gate 5.

The sale will feature a large selection of herbs, perennials and annuals and Twice Loved Plants, which are garnered and nurtured by guild members. The event will also feature a “twice loved” book sale. Guild members will be on hand to assist with purchasing, answer questions and share information.

The Holborn Herb Growers Guild began in 1982 to educate members and the public on the use and enjoyment of herbs. It has established public herb gardens at the Western Reserve Village at the Canfield Fairgrounds and at Boardman Park. It has held numerous educational programs and events and has published a recipe book and booklets. For those interested in joining the guild, see one of the members at the sale.
