Hostetler Named Superintendent of MCESC

July 13, 2018

The governing board of the Mahoning County Education Service Center has named Traci Hostetler as the new superintendent. Hostetler, whose new duties begin Aug. 1, is superintendent of the East Palestine City Schools. She has served as director of teaching and learning for Massillon City School District and was a middle school principal at the Canfield Local School District. “I am absolutely thrilled to serve students as superintendent of the MCESC. I look forward to continuing the innovative, exemplary services that our partners are accustomed to,” she says.  The Mahoning County Educational Service Center provides services for more than 46,000 students in school districts in Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana, Portage and Geauga counties. Hostetler replaces Ron Iarussa, who accepted a position as superintendent of the Marion City Schools.
