How COVID-19 Affected Salem Regional Medical Center
In part one of our Thoughts Leaders interview with Dr. Anita Hackstedde, the president and CEO of Salem Regional Medical Center, she discusses how the independent hospital relied on itself and the community in the face of COVID-19.
“It was different than what we typically see. I tell people it felt like a war zone there for a while,” Hackstedde says.
Hackstedde goes on to explain how she’s learned to be self-reliant when it comes to stocking supplies in order to treat patients.
