How You Can Help with the Teacher Shortage
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — When it comes to solving the teacher shortage, Carlotta Sheets, human resources supervisor at the Trumbull County Educational Service Center says more people need to become interested in the profession.
Sheets says one good way people can help is by respecting teachers and educators and that respect comes in many forms.
“How we treat them, how parents view them, how they’re talked about,” Sheets says. “And our educators also have to behave in a manner that garners that respect.”
