Howard Hanna Real Estate Acquires RealtyUSA

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, the largest residential real estate broker in Pennsylvania and Ohio, has acquired RealtyUSA, the largest broker in New York.

The acquisition, announced Wednesday, creates the nation’s third largest real estate company. Terms were not disclosed.

Hanna, based in Pittsburgh, operates 205 offices in eight states and has more than 7,100 agents. The company’s Mahoning Valley operations include offices in Poland, Canfield, Boardman and Howland.

RealtyUSA, based in Buffalo, operates 65 offices.Its name will remain but be joined with the tagline, “A Howard Hanna Company.”
