Howland Farmers Market Launches Video Series

HOWLAND, Ohio – The Howland Farmers Market has launched a new web series, Farm Fresh Express, highlighting the market’s vendors and examining where and how their products are made.

The eight-part series is funded by a two-year grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Farm Fresh Express is filmed and produced by 2 Ticks & The Dog Productions in Warren. The episodes will be released over the course of the next year on the farmers market’s website and social media pages.

The first video features Miller Livestock in Kinsman, which raises free-range, grass-fed cattle and poultry. Other businesses to be covered include Field Fresh Farm in Jefferson, Me and My Honey Apiary in Warren and Whipped by Aubrey in Warren.

Open year-round, the Howland Farmers Market’s summer hours are Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Richard E. Orwig Park, 8204 E. Market St., in front of Howland High School.
