Huntington Bank Helps United Way Stuff the Bus
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Huntington Bank donated and filled 1,000 backpacks with school supplies that will be distributed among students in Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana and Mercer Counties to prepare them for the 2023-24 school year.
The giveaway is part of Huntington’s annual backpack and Stuff the Bus program in partnership with the United Way.
“Unfortunately, the need has grown,” says Bob Hannon, president of the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley. “If we can ease that burden for a family to get them school supplies, I think that’s the job of the United Way – to try to help those children and families.”
