Huntington Is Top SBA Lender for Seventh Consecutive Year

COLUMBUS, Ohio – For the seventh consecutive year, Huntington National Bank is the nation’s largest originator, by volume, of Small Business Administration loans. 

Huntington surpassed $1.5 billion in SBA 7(a) loans and supported more than 7,500 small businesses from Oct. 1, 2023, to Sept. 30, 2024, a news release states.

“This recognition reflects the trust our valued customers have in Huntington, and the unmatched expertise, service and support our colleagues provide,” said Brant Standridge, president of consumer and regional banking at Huntington. “Together, we are making a meaningful impact in our communities and local economies.”

In addition to its national ranking, Huntington is also the largest originator of SBA 7(a) loans by volume in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and West Virginia.

The largest number of loans originated in Ohio, with 2,283 loans totaling more than $337 million.
