‘Impact Makers,’ a New Series, Spotlights Nonprofits

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The significance of our regional nonprofit organizations extends beyond the services they provide. From employment and workforce development to community service and leadership, nonprofits provide vital support across nearly every sector in our region’s economy.

The Business Journal’s new Impact Makers feature spotlights these organizations – both the household names and the grassroots groups that you may have never heard of. We’ll report on how they fulfill their mission, who is doing the work and how the community can lend a hand.

Our inaugural Impact Makers coverage is of Potential Development School for Students with Autism. In addition to the print stories in this issue, video segments are posted in the Impact Makers section of our website at BusinessJournalDaily.com/impact-makers.

Clicking the bio web page for each Impact Maker provides information on how to help local organizations, whether it’s with a monetary donation or volunteering time. The webpage also hosts a calendar with information on local fundraising events. Submitting information about an upcoming event takes just one click!

Often the best stories are the ones that go unwritten. If you have an Impact Maker you would like to see featured, tell us about them. Go to businessjournaldaily.com/submit-your-story and let us know who is making an impact in your community.
