In-Demand Nurses Weigh Local Career Options
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Between 60 and 70% of nursing students from Youngstown State University stay in the Mahoning Valley, according to Dr. Nancy Wagner, director of the YSU School of Nursing.
During a job fair Monday, 16 health care providers from across the region touted their pay and benefits in an effort to hire these in-demand workers amid a nursing shortage.
