Inaugural Sports Trivia Championship Set for Oct. 22
POLAND, Ohio — The inaugural Mahoning Valley Sports Trivia Championship will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 22 at The Lake Club.
The championship will raise funds to benefit Potential Development Schools for Students with Autism and offers a grand prize of $10,000 and a second prize of $5,000.
Michael J. Simon is sponsoring the contest to honor the memory of his parents, Esther and Morris Simon.
State the organizers, “We can assure you that it will be unlike any charitable event you’ve ever attended. With a grand prize of $10,000 and celebrity guests, it is sure to be your new favorite night of the year!”
Potential Development was founded to help autistic children from pre-kinderdarten to high school achieve their potential in a structured learning environment with an education plan designed for each student.
