iSynergy Adds Johnson to Team as Copywriter

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Digital marketing agency iSynergy announced this week that Couri Johnson has joined the team as a copywriter. In her role, clients from iSynergy and its sister company, Lift Marketing, will benefit from Johnson’s extensive writing skills.

Johnson has taught English language arts in Youngstown, Japan, and Louisiana. She earned an MFA in creative writing from Northeast Ohio Master of Fine Arts Program at Cleveland State University, and a doctorate in creative writing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

“Couri has a strong, unique approach when it comes to writing, thanks to her extensive experience. Her background in education magnifies her communication skills, and she’s a great addition to the team,” says Steve Cross, president and creative director of iSynergy.

Since joining the iSynergy team, Johnson has welcomed the constant flow of writing.

“All of the folks at iSynergy have given me a welcoming environment where I can flex my creative muscles in a new way,” Johnson says.

When she’s not writing at work, Johnson immerses herself in stories. The Youngstown native is the author of a short story collection, “I’ll Tell You a Love Story,” and an upcoming novel, “The Girl Who.” Johnson also enjoys running, playing video games and hanging out with her cats.
