Jeanne D. Tyler Estate Bequests Over $1M to MVHS
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The Mahoning Valley Historical Society was the recipient of a second bequest of over one million dollars from the late Jeanne D. Tyler.
This gift, along with last year’s one million dollar bequest, and her initial contribution of $750,000 to purchase and renovate the Tyler History Center, combined with other donations, brings her lifetime support to over three million dollars.
“Today’s bequest will be exclusively for Tyler History Center,” says Bill Lawson, executive director of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society. “All investment gain and income from this bequest will be channeled to the Tyler History Center for expansion of programs and operations.”
