Jennings Earns National Superintendent Certification

Justin Jennings, CEO of the Youngstown City School District, earned his national superintendent certification this week through the American Association of School Administrators. The certification qualifies CEO Jennings to serve as a school district superintendent throughout the United States.“I’m proud that I’ve completed the program and earned my certification from the esteemed AASA,” Jennings says. “The knowledge and skills gleaned from the program will help me as I work to improve the Youngstown City School District to ensure we provide our scholars with the highest quality education.” AASA offers a curriculum that focuses on transformational leadership, effective instructional leadership and continuous school improvement; understanding and ensuring equity; navigating community, state and national politics; the impact of economic pressures and budgeting and many other areas.
