Jewell Earns Certification in Geriatric PT

Jennifer Jewell, associate teaching professor at Penn State Shenango, recently earned the professional designation of board-certified clinical specialist in geriatric physical therapy. The designation is conferred by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, a division of the American Physical Therapy Association. Jewell obtained a masters degree in physical therapy from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pa. She graduated from Chatham University in Pittsburgh with a doctorate in physical therapy. She maintains her clinical practice in geriatric PT at Quality Life Services in Mercer, Pa.
