Johnson Aims for Higher Enrollment at YSU
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Former U.S. Rep. Bill Johnson began his first day on the job as president of Youngstown State University on Jan. 22.
After a full week of meetings, Johnson has made enrollment his No. 1 priority.
“The enrollment continues to be an issue, but that’s not just us here at YSU – that’s across the state, across the nation,” Johnson said. “How do we cast that wider net? I talk about that with our team every single day.”
