Kennsington Club Celebrates Golf Superintendent, Workers

CANFIELD, Ohio – It’s the playing conditions, not the clubs, the newest cart or clubhouse amenities that separates one golf course from another.

And it’s the work of the course superintendent and a team of groundskeepers that maintains those conditions.

That’s why Kennsington Golf Course, 4171 Westford Place, celebrated the dedication of its golf superintendent, Sean Novotny, and his groundskeeping crew Tuesday on Thank A Golf Course Superintendent Day.

Novotny, his crew members and members of the horticulture and landscaping teams received gift cards to Kennsington Grille in recognition of their work.

“I want to thank the groundskeeping crew for all their hard work in creating an exceptional golf experience at Kennsington,” Novotny said. “Kennsington is a great place to work, and it’s an honor to work for the Whitman family.”
