Kennsington Golf Club Collects Toys for Local Tots

CANFIELD, Ohio — Kennsington Golf Club and CTW Development Corp. have teamed up with the local U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program for its annual toy drive. Toys will be collected now through Dec. 8.

Kennsington, located in Canfield’s Westford Lifestyle Community, is collecting new, unwrapped toys for the organization to give to local children this holiday season. In addition, anyone who donates a toy will receive a certificate for 9 holes of golf.

In past years, Kennsington has been one of the chapter’s top contributors and hopes to continue the streak.

“We have very generous customers who know the impact this toy drive has on local families and children,” said Chuck Whitman, owner of Kennsington and CTW. “We are more than happy to do our part to help make the toy drive a success. We encourage everyone to come out and donate a toy to a child who, otherwise, would be without.”

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
