Kent State Trumbull Launches Hybrid Courses

CHAMPION TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Kent State University at Trumbull will launch the Weekend College/Hybrid Completion Program this fall, allowing students to complete courses with a mix of in-class and online learning.

The eight-week course is available to students with prior college credits. Classes will meet every other Saturday beginning Aug. 25, with the rest of the work completed online.

“People stop attending college for a number of reasons,” said Dr. Jim Ritter, director of enrollment management and student services, in a release. “Time and cost are two of the biggest reasons and we feel like this new program will alleviate these issues and help folks finish what they had started.”

Students who enroll in the program on or before Aug. 15 are eligible for a $500 scholarship. For more information, contact Ritter at 330 675 8935 or [email protected].
