Kent State Trumbull to Host Job, Volunteer Fairs
CHAMPION TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Two upcoming fairs at Kent State University at Trumbull will focus on job and volunteer opportunities. Oct. 6 and 8.
Both are free and open to the public.
The Fall Volunteer Fair is scheduled 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 6 and will provide an opportunity to connect with nearby nonprofit agencies to learn about opportunities available throughout the community. Among its goals are linking students to local organizations for volunteer and internship opportunities, offering organizations the opportunity to recruit volunteers and provide students and local organizations an opportunity to network.
The Community Job Fair is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 8. Representatives from regional business, industry, and Kent State will have information about jobs and academic opportunities. Those attending are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes. Participants can take part in mock interviews and have their resumes critiqued.
