Kline Named ‘COO to Know’ by Becker’s Hospital Review
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Don Kline, chief operating officer of Bon Secours Mercy Health, has been named one of 75 “Hospital and Health System COOs to Know” by Becker’s Hospital Review.
Kline was named COO of Bon Secours Mercy Health in 2022 after serving as a ministry group president. He was named president and CEO of Mercy Health Youngstown in 2016 and served as the market’s chief financial officer prior to that role.
The list highlights 75 exceptional chief operating officers who excel in overseeing and optimizing operations across hospitals and health systems.
Kline has more than 30 years of experience in hospital management, finance and operations leadership. In his current role, he spearheads operations across all BSMH domestic markets.
Before joining BSMH, Kline held CFO roles with Heritage Valley Health System and Trinity Health System. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Duquesne University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
