3 Minutes With | Columbiana County Students Find Niche

SALEM, Ohio – Through the Rising Scholars program at Kent State University’s regional campuses, students are encouraged to consider and dream about a future beyond what they might have once thought possible.

Students, who would be first-generation college students if they choose that path, are given a chance to learn more about their interests and what it takes to succeed.

“Our goal is to help students find their interests, find their niche,” says Dr. Jessica Paull, program coordinator at KSU’s regional campuses in Columbiana County. “We help them find what they’re good at, something they are passionate about, and then support them.”
