KWGD Attorney Williger Earns Certification in Elder Law
HUDSON, Ohio – Attorney Kyla A. Williger, a director at the law firm of Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co., has earned the elder law attorney certification from the National Elder Law Foundation.
Certification in elder law – one of the fastest growing fields in the legal profession – provides a measure of assurance to the public that the attorney has an in-depth working knowledge of the legal issues that impact the elderly. Just over 500 attorneys hold this certification in the country, including just 38 in Ohio.
Williger has also passed the Ohio specific portion of the Elder Law Exam, and has been certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in the practice of elder law. A second specialization certification she earned in 2019 is in the practice of estate planning, trust and probate law.
Williger, a graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, is a member of the Akron Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association and American Bar Association. She is a board member for the Alzheimer’s Association and a member of Akron Community Foundation’s Professional Advisor Council.
