KWGD Welcomes Freeman to Canfield Office
CANTON, Ohio – KWGD has added a new associate, Carrie J. Freeman, to its office here.
Freeman joined Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths & Dougherty Co. LPA in 2022 as a summer law clerk, and returned as an associate with the firm after being admitted to practice earlier this year. She is a member of the firm’s real estate section.
Freeman earned her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law, summa cum laude, in December, and her B.A. from the University of Dayton in 2013.
During law school, Carrie held internships with the civil division of the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office and the Western Reserve Land Conservancy where she gained a broad range of knowledge and experience in handling property-related legal issues.
She participated in the Akron Law Review as an assistant editor, and spent time working in the University of Akron Civil Practice Clinic, which provides pro bono legal aid to indigent Ohioans experiencing housing problems.
KWGD operates seven law offices in Ohio including a Mahoning County office in Canfield.
