Labra Brothers to Release New Song, Video

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – New music and video are coming this weekend from The Labra Brothers.

The Youngstown-based rockers will release a new song, “Be Cool,” and the video for it on Saturday.

Also dropping this weekend is the first episode in a series that documents the brothers’ trip to visit family in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, last year. It can be found on YouTube. Click HERE.

Three more episodes will be released in the coming months. Each is about 10 minutes long and includes performances for family and in the city.

Footage from the Mexico trip was used in the “Be Cool” video, which is a precursor to a new album that will be released later this year.

The Labras will perform Saturday at the Brite Winter music festival on the west bank of The Flats in Cleveland, and on March 4 at Westside Bowl in Youngstown, with Red Wanting Blue. The act will be back at Westside Bowl on April 8 to headline a show that will also include Black Wolf and the Thief.

The members of the band are Adrian, Cristian, David and Antonio Labra; Danny Svenson and Matt Hayes.
