Land, Building for New Dermatology Center Sells for $8.2M

WARREN, Ohio – The land and building that houses Advanced Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center’s new practice in Howland Township has sold to an investment group for $8.25 million, according to records from the Trumbull County Auditor.

The new center, at 2223 Niles-Cortland Road, recently celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting Nov. 2.

According to auditor records, Cheer Time Athletics Corp. sold the site to Warren Retail Management LLC for $575,000 in August 2021.  A building that once stood at the location was demolished to make way for a new, state-of-the art center.

Warren Retail then sold the building to TSUI Investments for $8.25 million on Nov. 8, records show.

According to incorporation records filed with the Ohio Secretary of State’s office, Warren Retail gives the same address as ALRIG USA, a commercial and retail developer based in Bingham Farms, Mich.  No information was on file for TSUI.

Advanced Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center will relocate from 321 Niles-Cortland Road, according to a news release.

“This state of the art facility gives our Advanced Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center providers the opportunity to build on our already high standards to deliver advanced treatments, personalized care, cutting-edge cosmetic procedures, and care that serves the entire family,” said Dr. Raymond Bernat, who co-founded the center in 2001.

The Howland center will be managed by Dr. Mariel Bird, a board certified dermatologist specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology.

“We’re excited for our patients to begin experiencing the benefits of this type of facility. We will be expanding our scope of care and taking advantage of some of the newest equipment in the industry, which truly underscores our commitment to quality care,” Dr. Bird said in a statement.
