Landers-Lewis Affiliates with Utica National Group
BOARDMAN, Ohio — Landers-Lewis Insurance Agency & Consulting Services LLC has joined the 1,500 independent agents nationwide who represent the companies of the Utica National Insurance Group, principals Steve Lewis and Dan Landers announced Monday.
The agency, 721 Boardman-Poland Road, offers insurance, financial and consulting services to individuals, families and investors in the Mahoning Valley. Landers oversees the insurance side of the agency. Lewis, who heads MVC Advisors, oversees the consulting services.
The agency was formed in November 2013.
Utica National, based in New Hartford, N.Y., is among the top 100 property/casualty insurance organizations in the United States and among the largest headquartered in New York State.
Utica National sells commercial insurance products through the independent agency system. Among its products are insurance coverage for graphic arts, educational institutions, volunteer fire departments, religious institutions, and one of the nation’s largest programs for professional liability coverage for insurance agents.
The affiliation with Utica National, Landers says, allows Landers-Lewis entry into markets it hadn’t served, such as volunteer fire departments, daycare centers, school districts and car dealerships and offer more them more competitive prices.
